Beach girl Rhij Sarenas is not a new face here at FHM.com.ph. If you’re a regular reader, you might have already seen her several times in our #FHMOfficeCrush series.
And even if she was already featured in the past, there are still a number of submissions in our inbox with her photos and info, guys begging us to do another article on this beauty. It seems like people (dudes, for sure) just can’t enough of everyone’s favorite officemate.
We’re not the least bit surprised with the demand for more of this certified hottie. With her disarming smile and perky personality, who wouldn’t be mesmerized?
Luckily (and finally!), FHM.com.ph got the chance to have a quick chat with this 27-year-old summer-lovin' babe. Learn more about her below, and don't forget to follow and double-tap on those photos on Instagram.
Aside from being everyone's favorite office crush, who is Rhij outside of work?
The beach is my happy place! I usually devote nine hours of my day for my regular job and the rest is for our start-up business. Currently, I'm employed as an Accounts Manager in Xeleb, Inc., a technology company focused on celebrity content. I also work as the VP for Marketing at StyleGenie PH, the first styling and clothing subscription box in the Philippines.
So what does an Accounts Manager do? Care to share your daily routine?
As an accounts manager in Xeleb, I basically work with TV and online influencers and game developers to produce a celebrity gamified platform for consumers. I usually fulfill the needs of the and coordinate with our internal team about our day-to-day deliverables.
And what sort of celebrity content do you guys usually make?
In Xeleb, we develop games for celebrities. Some of the games that we've produced are:
Anne Galing - it's a match-3 game, where players can also shop for digital clothes and personalize Anne Curtis' outfits.
Market Master Erwan - it's a grocery dash game, where players can shop for the right ingredients with Erwan Heussaff.
Trip ni Belle - it's an arcade game, where players can experience Isabelle Daza's travels and outfits.
Adventures of Kuya Kim - it's an endless running game, where players help Kuya Kim Atienza go through obstacles in his adventures.
How about StyleGenie? Can you please tell us more about it?
For Filipino women who have fashion dilemmas, StyleGenie is an online subscription box service that provides unique fashion pieces selected by style experts based on the customer's profile quiz.
You have a lot of things going on with your professional life. How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance?
I'm a believer of the work-life blend! I enjoy mixing work with play. I find it refreshing whenever I'm working by the beach while sipping a fruit shake.
Any advice for those who are planning their own start-ups?
Making mistakes is inevitable, but what's more important is the learning process. Bootstrapping is also key!
What’s the best thing about being a full-time accounts manager and part-time start-up maven?
It's really fulfilling to empower women through fashion and style. I’m also grateful to work with a dynamic team—they bring light to my stressful days.
Where can we find you when you're not being a #boss?
I love exploring the uncharted beaches in the Philippines. I promised myself that I'd visit at least one beach a month. When I’m frolicking under the sun, I’m probably jogging in Makati's parks or pigging out at a Japanese restaurant.
Speaking of exploring and traveling, what's your favorite travel destination?
My favorite is Palawan. I want to go back soon! When you're there, make sure to visit Ka Lui restaurant for some superb seafood and a native dining experience!
And what’s one place you really want to travel to?
Iceland. I'd love to see the Northern Lights!
If you were to live abroad for a while, or for forever, where would it be?
The Maldives! Anywhere near the beach will do.
Finally, any travel tips for your aspiring beach buddies?
Always bring a camera with you so you can capture all the beautiful landscapes and fun moments. Also, it doesn't hurt to pack light. Leave room for spontaneity and lnever forget to bring your sense of adventure!
