Thanks to it being hidden 99-percent of the time, a pair of socks is often seen as one of the most undervalued clothing items.

It doesn't have to be that way though, especially if your soles are dressed in the warm embrace of Happy Socks' colorful creations!

Here's a glimpse of the brand's quirky offerings:

Because we're in dire need of some cool socks, we recently attended the launching of Happy Socks in the Philippines. Held at the Staple and Perk Bakery in Makati, the fasyon shindig was loaded with fun, food, music, and super artsy socks!

For the clueless, Happy Socks is a well-known clothing brand founded by Viktor Tell and Mikael Soderlindh in 2008. Not that it matters much but famous personalities like Zac Efron, Joseph Gordin-Levitt and Snopp Dogg have been spotted wearing their products in the past. #StarPower

The ladies above, Katherine Sy (right) and Diana Ong, opened the first Happy Socks franchise locally, officially announcing the brand's arrive on local shores.

Before you dismiss the brand as "girly" due to the colorful nature of their socks though, we'll let you know that Happy Socks also offers options for men.

Look:

Wouldn't you want to show it off and go "shoeless"?

A regular pair of Happy Socks socks goes for ₱649. Sure, they're much pricier than the SRP of the hole-ridden socks you bought at the tiangge, but at least you're assured of top-notch quality, not to mention looks that are quirky enough to be a nice ice breaker ("Hey, check me out down there, you'll be surprised!").
