Lacy bras, G-string lingerie—when we hear those words, it sounds like we're up for a crazy, fun night.
But what if we say men would be wearing those and not women?
Here's one instance where the imagination of underwear-makers have gone too far. Australian brand Homme Mystere released a full collection of lacy "manties," which includes G-strings, polka-dot camisoles, and bras for, erm, men.
"We love designing and making fun, comfortable, unique lingerie—for men," Homme Mystere says in its website. "Men's lingerie sits in an undefined territory deemed 'not exciting enough' for adult stores and 'too confronting' for mainstream retail stores. Our goal has always been to offer an alternative style of underwear for men."
If you think they only cater to homosexual men, you’re entirely wrong. Homme Mystere says over 90 percent of their customers are in heterosexual relationships and that they're actually planning to expand their website to match the increased demand in these lingerie.
