Summer’s the best time to go out of town with your girlfriend, but that’s what everyone’s thinking of doing as well. Going to a beach or a water park on a weekend means jockeying with a ton of strangers for personal space, and that easily takes all the fun out of your vacation.

If you’d rather avoid the bakasyonista crowds (not to mention the pervy strangers ogling your girl’s hot beach bod), a staycation at an Airbnb in Metro Manila is a great alternative. You’ll have all the comforts of a hotel, minus the extravagant price tags. And with so many beautiful places to choose from, you’re bound to find a temporary home that fits your budget and needs.

1) The Eton Residences Greenbelt (around P3,200 a night, via Andrea)

Andrea’s loft pad is #goals. Tasteful, well-lit interiors? Check. Comfy furniture? Check. Entertainment options? Triple check—there’s unlimited WiFi, as well as two TVs, a home theater system, plus a speaker for your gadgets. The kitchen’s also stocked with cookware and dinnerware should you feel like cooking, and you can just walk over to the nearby Greenbelt Mall for your ingredients. We actually don’t want to stay here because we’re scared we’d never want to leave!

2) Gramercy Residences (around P3,700 a night, via Mary)

Dial up the romance by staying at a penthouse suite in one of the fanciest places in the Metro! Mary’s Gramercy corner unit boasts of three balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, ample dining amenities, a pristine queen-sized bed, and a fine view of the Makati and BGC skylines. If you do manage to venture out of your room, you can take a dip at the Gramercy’s infinity pool or head over to the connected Century City Mall. Trust us, your girl will be very impressed.

3) Cosel Centre Condominium (around P2,000 per night, via Brian)

We’re really digging the interiors of Brian’s 66-square meter penthouse unit. Bright and homey, its warm color scheme and wooden details will have you feeling like you’re in a posh resort the moment you step inside. Rockwell and Century City are a short stroll away, and there’s no shortage of excellent restaurants and watering holes nearby. The WiFi’s ultra-fast, and the price point is unbeatable considering the location and the amenities. You’ll definitely be very tempted to extend your stay!
