Planning on going out as a big group, or just simply having a massive craving? Some days the normal-sized platefuls just won’t cut it, so for those days, we’ve got five establishments in the Metro that you can trust to give you ginormous servings for your equally humongous appetite.

1) Zark’s Burgers
Taft/BF Homes/Katipunan/Select SM Malls

This one is for carbs and protein lovers out there. If you’re a burger kind of person, you’ll definitely go gaga over the selection at Zark’s. Needless to say, they are genuinely massive, with multiple burger patties stacked one atop each other, delicately balanced with tomatoes and greens, and of course, melted cheese drizzling down over them all.

For under P350, you can put your jaws to the test with the burger that has made them famous—The Jawbreaker. This features triple cheeseburgers packed tight along with two of probably the best food inventions ever: spam and bacon. As if that’s not enough, they’ve also come up with The Tombstone. It’s as deadly as it sounds, with a whopping 8 all-beef patties, 4 slices of American Cheddar squeezed in between.  This one will set you back P600.

2) Dillinger’s 1903
Greenbelt 3

If you’re type who loves to pair your drink with crunchy munchies, then you must not miss their Nacho Grande. It’s one of their most popular dishes, especially perfect for their ice-cold draft beer. It’s easy to understand why it’s such a hit, especially once you see the towering pile of gooey, cheesy goodness sitting in front of you, with bits of ground beef, salsa, and sour cream completing the flavors. The best part about it: for only P265, it’s a giant plate that you can share with at least two or three other friends—if you’re the sharing type, that is.

3) Jugno’s Monster Pizza
Mandaluyong/ Kalayaan Ave/ Quezon City

Pizza night? Don’t settle for those measly 12” lightweights, especially not when you can have as much as 36” Sure, giant pizzas are more than a dime a dozen nowadays, but Jugno’s Monster Pizza offers a tried-and-tested formula that guarantees great-tasting slices from end to end.  It’s a whole lot of fun because you can customize the flavors according to the different combinations you’d like, adding extra toppings as you please. These giant pizzas are at a steal at just around P900 each, while the more normal-sized ones range from P80 for the mini 8” ones to P500+ for the respectable 20”.

4) Mighty Quinn’s
SM Megamall

If barbecue is what you want, then barbecue is what you’ll get. That’s what Mighty Quinn’s at SM Megamall has to offer all you protein-lovers out there. The rich and smoky flavors  are sure to have you hankering for more, which is frankly a good thing because the servings they have are simply huge. It would probably be good to share for dine in, for takeaway, or even for the morning after, if only you’ll be able to stop yourself from having a go at it. Most likely though, you won’t be able to resist. Get ready to shell out at least P1,300 for every meaty serving.

5) Sugar Factory
Shangri-La at the Fort

Enormous servings seem to be the name of the game for Sugar Factory. From giant pancakes (yes, they literally have a Gigantic Buttermilk Banana Walnut Pancake for P340) to giant breakfast platters, and even Monster Burgers (P580 and up), you’re sure to have a very filling time here.

It’s not just appetizers and mains that you can enjoy on a gargantuan scale—even their desserts are made to impress, with towering Insane Milkshakes (P795) sprinkled with, well, sprinkles all around, and topped with full-sized chocolate bars. They’ve got more so get your sweet tooth ready.
