FHM's 28 Days Of Romansahan: FHM's Ultimate Pambawi Gift Guide

It’s our favorite time of the year—that’s aside from Christmas and the FHM 100 Sexiest Victory Party; okay, it’s our THIRD favorite time of the year! But who’s counting, right? What’s more important is it’s now February. The love month. The okay-lang-magwaldas-para-sa-date month. The only month men are allowed to be ultra-cheesy.

But do you have any idea HOW to be cheesy? Are you and your lady constantly bickering about your lack of romance? Do you attribute your singlehood to your lack of wooing skills? Well, we’re going to solve these all for you! FHM will be dishing out daily how-to-be-a-Don-Romantiko tips the whole month of February!


Is your girl constantly stressed? Does this affect your time together? Does she prefer lying down...and not talking to you than doing something "fun"? Does it seem like her very demanding work is draining every drop of life out of her?

Are you reading this alone while drinking your third bottle of beer because she's too tired to be with you?!

Well, we say it's your job to make her life easier! You can shower her with gifts, affection, or just about every bit of niceties a man can muster. Or you can also fix her up a glass of her favorite cocktail...

 FHM recently spent time with the alcohol masters over at Draft Gastropub for a crash course on how to prepare the perfect female de-stressing drink. Hand her any of these four cocktails and watch her be re-energized with every sip.

A reminder, though: Drink moderately! After all, you don't want to be both too tipsy if you plan to "burn" all that alcohol after. (Cue: sexay muzak!)


THE CLASSIC MARGARITA

Margaritas are like whiskey for girls; they just can't say no to a sip or two. If your girl is always cranky after coming home from work, get her smiling again with this no-fail cocktail!

Ingredients:
2 ounces tequila (gold)
1 1/2 ounces triple sec or curacao liquor
1 1/2 ounces lime juice
12 pcs. calamansi
Salt

Procedure:
1. Juice up two to three calamansi fruits.
2. Pour all the juices and tequila in a cocktail shaker and shake it vigorously.
3. Put some ice in a glass and pour the mixture.
4. Put some salt in the rim of the glass, then serve.


THE CALAMANSI MOJITO

The freshest mixed cocktail mankind has ever invented. Although it's really more of a summer cool-down drink, sipping a mojito after a hectic work day can relax all the tense veins in her body.

Ingredients:
2 ounces white rum
12 pcs. calamansi
Handful of mint leaves
White sugar
1 can soda water

Procedure:
1. Cut two calamansi fruits in half, put in a cocktail shaker along with two to three mint leaves, four teaspoons of white sugar, and half an ounce of white rum.
2. Muddle all the ingredients until you smell the mint coming out of the shaker.
3. Put in some ice and add one and a half ounces of white rum.
4. Shake!
5. Pour mixture in a glass, preferably a tall one.
6. Pour 150ml of soda water in the shaker then swirl it for a bit. Add it to the mixture. Keep adding soda water until desired taste is met.
7. Put mint sprigs and three slices of calamansi in the glass, then serve!


YELLOW TAIL

It may look like you normal iced tea, but don't let its appearance fool you. Its bold dark rum flavor can wake up her sleeping senses!

Ingredients:
1 ounce Galliano
1 ounce crème de banana
1 ounce dark rum
2 ounces orange juice
2 ounces pineapple juice

Procedure:
1. Combine all ingredients in a glass with ice.
2. Stir until you achieved a smooth consistency.
3. Put a slice of pineapple or orange on the rim and serve with a straw.


GREEN MINI

Given its low alcohol content, this fun cocktail will give your girl a lively sour taste with a sweet froth in every sip.

Ingredients:
1 ounce Midori
1 ounce crème de banana
2 ounces orange juice
2 ounces pineapple juice

Procedure:
1. Pour the juices inside the cocktail shaker.
2. Add the Midori, banana cream, and some ice.
3. Shake for at least 30 seconds, or until consistency smoothens.
4. Pour mixture in a glass and serve.
