If you're a fan of TV shows, movies, comics, or just about any geeky endeavor, we've got good news for you: Stars from your favorite series are coming to Manila over the weekend to headline the fantastic events, AsiaPOP Comicon and History Con.
Among the celebrities we can't wait to see are...
1) CLAIRE HOLT
The Australian actress, known for playing Rebekah Mikaelson in TV series The Vampire Diaries as well its spinoff, The Originals, is the fourth performer from the said show to come in the country after Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Michael Trevino. She will be dropping by to sign autographs and pose with you for that once-in-a-lifetime photo op from 1:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. A quick search on Google revealed that she loves all things yellow so don't forget to bring her something, well, yellow. She'll love you for it.
2) MILLIE BOBBY BROWN
Millie, a.k.a. Eleven, the young girl with telekinetic abilities in the hit sci-fi series Stranger Things will be onstage for a meet-and-greet tomorrow, August 27, from 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. The adorable child actress will be back at 4:00 p.m. for photograph sessions while autograph signing will start at 6:00 p.m. Prepare your cute poses, bros!
3) NICHOLAS HOULT
Let your inner fanboy out as Nicholas, the Beast in the X-Men franchise, will be signing autographs and take selfies with you from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on August 27 and August 28. Don't lose your masculinity when you see him in person.
4) GIORGIO TSOUKALOS
Meet and greet the Ancient Aliens host/greatest living internet meme on August 27 and 28. He is scheduled to give a special talk.
5) JUSTIN MOTT
ICYMI: Justin is an award-winning American photographer whose work has been published in The New York Times, TIME, and Forbes. He is also the host of History's new reality competition series, Photo Face-Off. If you are an aspiring photographer, it’s a great time to go out and learn new things as he will be conducting workshops from August 27 to August 28.

WHAT'S UP: For the 10th time, the International Silent Film Festival Manila gives us 10 films from nine different countries. Entrance is strictly on first come first served basis. Also performing at the festival are Ely Buendia and Up Dharma Down and other promising bands.
