Howeverand we know this is true by our tummy-stuffing experiencecheeseburgers aren't created equal. There are those that deserve the buy-one-take-one tag while others are fit for posh restos and wallet-killing SRPs. But the home-made ones; man, those are the best!

So if you want to impress your carnivorous friends, we suggest you serve 'em your own version of meat heaven. If you want expert advice, Sean Brock, the host of the PBS TV show The Mind of a Chef and Executive Chef of Husk, a high-class resto in South Carolina, recently starred in a video teaching how to make a truly awesome cheeseburger.

We've seen it, and it made us feel like we haven't eaten for a thousand years. More importantly, for this edition of the FHM Guide To Man Food, we share with you the pro burger-making tips we learned from it, such as...

Use ground bacon and not bacon strips because biting into rubbery strips can be annoying for our jaws.

Mix the ground bacon and beef together like you're playing with bewbs toy clay.

Use two patties for one cheeseburger. No explanation needed!

Season the patties with pepper and butter up your grill.

Chef Sean says it's important to let the patties "sit there and form this beautiful crust." You had our stomachs at "crust," sir!

Toast the buns on the grill as well (but only for a bit or until they're golden brown) and let it soak up the butter and the juices flowing out of the patties.

If it looks like this, it's good:

Place the cheese on top of the patties while they're still on the grill. The melted part will serve as additional "sauce" for the burger.

Slather the buns with ketchup, mayo, mustard
, or a combination of the three
.

Place the patties on top of each other. No bread dividers for more meat and cheese with every bite.

Finally, if it drips, then you've made a gastronomic masterpiece!
