It all started with Kulinarya Kitchen at the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell. A restaurant geared towards casual diners, the power-lunch crowds of the business districts, and warm family gatherings, the Rockwell resto gained a following thanks to its fusion of classic European and Asian flavors with the Kulinarya twist.

Now, the restaurant brings their taste to an even broader base of foodies with the opening of Kulinarya Experience in Commercenter Alabang. The diner opened back in April 2014, and offers a more chic, more casual feel and flavor as opposed to the cool elegance of the original Rockwell Kulinarya.

Fortunately, we're pleased to report that the transition hasn't affected the quality of the food they serve. The creative fusion between Eastern and Western flavors is still present in its menu, this time presented in a brighter and more cheerful light—and more importantly, it has become a whole lot more affordable.

Here, in a new edition of The FHM Guide To Man Food, we give you a rundown of what you should order the next time you're in the area!

1)   Kulinarya Seafood Salad Maki

This is not your ordinary ebi (shrimp) maki. It has a crunchy outer nori seaweed wrapping that's been deep fried but inside, it's soft and filled with kani (crab) salad, a vinaigrette infused with wasabi, and a mango and shrimp puree. It's supposed to be an appetizer for two people, but we wouldn't mind holding up the entire rectangular plate down our mouths.

2)   Sriracha Chicken Poppers

At first bite, these chicken poppers are similar to those Korean chicken pops that are now all the rage. But once you chew these boneless goodies for a while, they reveal that wonderfully spicy-sweet flavor that is the Sriracha, the popular Vietnamese hot sauce. Thankfully, there is only a right amount of hotness in it, and nothing that will have you grabbing a glass of water with every bite. This puffy treat is good for pulutan but even better with rice!

3)   Chicken Caesar Flatbread

The quesadilla-like treat features a mouthwatering rush of flavors from fresh romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, bacon jam, black olives and cheddar. It's crunchy at first, but chewy on the inside with generous amounts of chicken within. A great take-out option as Kulinarya recommends.

4)   The Steakburger

Slightly bigger than a quarter-pounder, this yummy favorite features 125 grams of lean U.S. Angus steak mashed into a juicy patty. If you like steak and you like burgers (we mean, is that even a question?) this fusion of two FHM-approved man foods has all the juicy, indulgent goodness you'd want in a real man-sandwich.

KXP's version of this FHM-favorite has a chunky but tender texture and is blessed with a gamey-tasting sauce that makes for a truly flavorful culinary experience. Finishing the greens, not required.
