Think you're too small down there? If you have the dough, well, you can make it bigger!

No, seriously.

Meet Dr. James Elist, M.D., a urologist in Beverly Hills, California who can make that dream come true for you.

In the February issue of GQ, Amy Wallace talked to Elist regarding his creation, the Penuva (or Penuma), how it increases a man's penis size, and why his customers sought his help in the first place. Apparently, the Penuva is a translucent silicon-based implant which is wrapped around the inner penis. It looks a bit like a plasticky hotdog bun meaning it really won't "choke your chicken," so to speak.

The whole surgery is done in less than an hour, and the visible effects are immediate, although you'll have to wait a few months to get back into action. Customers have experienced an increase in both length and girth by a couple or so inches. The implant is available in three sizes: L, XL, and XXL.

Oh, you also have to be circumcised to be able to enjoy its glorious benefits.

While penis-enhancing products and operations (e.g. inserting collagen, the use of inflatables) have been around for many years, their side effects—which can range from the mild (discomfort) to the grotesque ("Is that still a penis?")—are also well-documented. So far, Elist is currently the only doctor with clearance from the US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) to use the Penuva.

According to the feature, Elist has inserted about 1,300 of his creation into men. As to why his customers wanted his services, Elist says their reasons vary—from penis insecurity to fear of being unable to sexually satisfy the wife. As Elist sums it up, "Nobody wants a small."

Elist has a 95-percent five-year success rate. However, a few Penuva recipients have experienced problems due to the implant (e.g. breakage, material perforation). But what operation has no attached risks, right?

The other million-peso question: how much for a Penuva implant? Around $13,000 (P622,000). Yep, it's clearly reserved for the affluent and desperate.

If you have the means and want to give it a try though, we recommend checking out Dr. James Elist's site here.
