How do you make an already awesome shoe look even more kick-tastic? By making it glow in the dark, of course!

adidas followed this fail-proof advice and unleashed glow-in-the-dark versions of the D Rose 5 Boost, J Wall 1, and Crazylight Boost here in the Philippines. The result made the '90s kid in us exclaim "BOO-YAH!"

Dubbed the "Bad Dreams" collection, these kicks come in holiday colorways and a new mix of textures. We're also told that the glow-in-the-dark feature represents your "haunting" the dreams of your oncourt rivals, hence the name. Cross 'em over with these bad boys on and they won't be sleeping soundly after.

The "Bad Dreams" collection will be worn by NBA adidas athletes during the NBA Christmas Day games (click here for the games list).

Now, let's take a closer look at each shoe in the collection, shall we?

"BAD DREAMS" D ROSE 5 BOOST (P8,495)

Featuring a black canvas upper and multi-directional striping, this edition of the D Rose 5 Boost certainly has that "I-mean-business" facade. Meanwhile, glow-in-the-dark panels highlight the shoe's outsole, heel, back, and logo.

"BAD DREAMS" J WALL 1 (P5,995)

Coming in with an exterior dominated by the money color, the "Bad Dreams" J Wall 1 also has black stitching details and a glow-in-the-dark outsole and J Wall logo that will let anyone know you're a big John Wall fanboy even if there's a power outage.

"BAD DREAMS" CRAZYLIGHT BOOST (P7,495)

A glow-in-the-dark outsole enables you to easily spot this baby even if Haring Araw slumbers. Its speckled midsole pattern and red three-stripes visual feature give it the no-nonsense look.

"BAD DREAMS" CRAZY 2 (NOT AVAILABLE IN THE PHILIPPINES)

The most Christmas-y of the bunch, the "Bad Dreams" Crazy 2 features a lot of red and green, so if you're fan of these colors, you're going to like it. We also approve of the fact that, among the four, this one has the most glow-in-the-dark features (outsole, speckled print midsole pattern, adidas logo).

How about it, FHM Nation? Want to give these man kicks a try? For those interested, we'll let you know that the adidas "Bad Dreams" collection will be available in adidas Trinoma, Titan outlets, and the NBA Store this month.
