We all have that "superhuman" friend who manages to accomplish a hundred and one things in a day. You know him, that annoying person who can effortlessly blast through deadlines and still have time to go out for dinner with his girlfriend and hit Valkyrie afterward. How the heck does he do that?!

Here’s the thing: We’re all given exactly 24 hours to strut our stuff every day, and it’s up to us to make the most out of ‘em. Your pal’s just using his time wisely, and if he could do it all in 24 hours, so could you!

WAKE UP EARLY

Another benefit of waking up at the crack of dawn: getting to leave the house before rush hour strikes! That alone is a very good reason to roll out of bed early, don’t you think? Psyche yourself up for the day ahead with a quick routine to wake you up: pick up your jump rope; go on a quick jog; play a few rounds of Just Dance if that’s your thing. Just don't overexert yourself or you might end up collapsing back in bed! When your blood and flesh is already active in the morning, then you'll be more physically ready to get started early.


HAVE A COMPLETE BREAKFAST

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so don’t skip it! Trust the commercials: A hearty meal will fight off that pesky morning sluggishness and will give you all the energy you’ll need to last until the noontime hunger pangs roll in.


CHUG DOWN SOME CAFFEINE

If you’re having trouble summoning the motivation (read: energy) you need at work, you could always use a chemical boost to perk you up. Whether you’re an espresso enthusiast, an avid tea drinker, or a soft drink guzzler, a jolt of caffeine into your system every now and then will do wonders to your energy levels. Just don't overdo it, okay? As they say, too much of something is always a no-no.

WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TO DO FOR THE DAY

Jot down all your tasks for day the moment you get to your desk and put your list somewhere super visible. Prioritize the ones you need to do, and cross out all the tasks you have achieved as the day goes by. Trust us, you’ll feel so productive afterward. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish when you’re not rushing into your office at the last allowable minute of your time-in period.
