When I was in Singapore, guess who I bumped into? Well, ladies and gentlemen, meet Mr. David F. Lim, editor-in-chief and Amanda, feature writer, both from FHM Singapore. We met in “House of Arts” in Singapore for the photo exhibit of two great photographers way back 1940’s. I’ll be writing more about FHM Singapore in my next entry (yup, and I have a surprise for you guys!) but meanwhile, I want to pay tribute to these two photographers. I have huge respect for very artistic and talented photographers.

During my first night in Singapore, we went to this place called Eski Bar. I’m sure the name itself explains well why it is called as such. Eski Bar is actually an industrial freezer turned into a bar. They’ve got two main rooms, the Freezer room wherein the temperature is almost at zero degrees. And the Chiller room wherein the temperature is a bit warmer than the Freezer room, this is where you go when you can’t stand the cold. You could see the servers in their winter getups. And they provide winter coats for costumers who feel like freezing to death (like me!).

This place is best for those people who love to party in their winter clothes. If you happen to visit Singapore, drop by this place at 46 Circular Road along Boat Quay. Brrrr!!
