OT: Wow, the Hollywood Foreign Press is showing so much love for "Slumdog Millionaire", it is 4 out of 4...I wonder if it's going to be too much for the Guilds and Academy to handle...also, KATE WINSLET IS A DOUBLE WINNER FOR LEAD ACTRESS AND SUPPORTING ACTRESS...I wonder if this will translate into a win for Kate on Oscar night, assuming she gets nominated for "The Reader" and/or "The Revolutionary Road"...

"Ploning" is the Philippines' official entry to the 2009 Oscar awards' best foreign language film category...beating out "Caregiver"; "Tribu"; "Endo"; "Pisay"; and "Serbis"...

I dont think it will be included sa top 5 official entry for foreign language film next year. If Jose Rizal and Pagdadalaga ni *****o Oliveros didn't make it before, what more pa ung Ploning...

pero siyempre as a Filipino, sana makapasok...

Best Picture -- No Country for Old Men
Director -- Coens, NCOM
Actor -- Day-Lewis, There Will Be Blood
Actress -- Christie, Away From Her
S. Actor -- Bardem, NCOM
S. Actress -- This is a tough one, Amy Ryan has the MOST pre-oscars awards, while, Ruby Dee was awarded by her peers at the SAG awards...nevertheless, I decided to go with Blanchett, I'm Not Here
