Bedtime Stories were quite popular during the ’60s. These mimeographed publications catered to young men’s sexual curiosity and were sold for a neat sum in Recto. Villanueva’s own 2005 collection of plays takes a peek behind closed doors, but goes beyond private parts while shedding light at the most private of human interactions. - Cel Coscolluela
