Junior by Macaulay Culkin
July 10, 2006   |   393 views
Lambasted by critics for “[lowering] the already low bar set for celebrity fiction,” don’t namedrop this title to earn semblance of literary savoir faire. Don’t expect to read Michael Jackson annotations, too, for Culkin claims that Junior the character isn’t Culkin the author. Right. Anyhow, the book is a hodgepodge of letters, quizzes, poetry, and short stories that at one point you’ll ask yourself: What’s the point of this book? Why am I reading this? Because you’re a Home Alone fan, that’s why!

About the author
In the early 1990’s he was possibly the most popular child actor in Hollywood. Fast forward to 2005, Culkin testified on behalf of his friend Michael Jackson’s defense during the King of Pop’s child molestation trial. On the stand, he denied that Wacko Jacko ever molested him.
