With only his bravado and human strength, David Lizewksi proceeds to turn his dream into a reality, until one day, he becomes a YouTube sensation when his act of heroism is captured on film. He becomes known as Kick-ass. However, his identity remains a secret, spawning rumors about his beat-up body.
