Hunger's Brides by Paul Anderson
July 28, 2006

A married college professor, Donald Gregory, has an affair with his student, Beulah Limosneros. But afraid that Beulah may possess incriminating evidence against him, Gregory steals a box that contains journals, poetry, voluminous depictions of sex, Sor Juana’s poetry, and a historical account of her life. Anderson then interlaces the tale of the two mysterious women—in more than a thousand freaking pages. Verbose!
