The days when Nokia reigned with phones that featured colorful, modifiable face plates, and a certain game called Snake seem like eons ago. As the smartphone arena started to offer units with fresher, more intuitive operating systems, and bolder, more modern designs, the Finnish phone maker started to look positively ancient. While we all hunkered down excitedly for new iPhone announcements, or some cool, new Android upgrade, the indifference for Nokia only grew.
Are we exaggerating? Maybe a little bit. But when was the last time you actually paid attention when a friend of yours asked you to check out his new Nokia? That’s right, you don’t remember.
