We Unbox...Diablo 3!

And that's the box! That's the Diablo 3 box we're about to, well, unbox.

But not without looking at the box's back portion first, of course.

Flip it open, and a recorded soundclip starts playing, "And at the end of days..." Okay, not really, but that would have been awesome.

We don't know how we did it, but it sure looks like shit's comin' to life, in this picture at least. Must've been the way we were holding it.

And we finally get to taking out the actual contents of the box. We do it in front of a mirror to see our own reaction.

Done like a true hand model, if we might add.

Nope, those aren't oversized Magic cards. They're guest passes which you can pass out to friends, so they can have a sample of the game. Each copy of the game is limited to one Battle.net account, which means you can't share the game around. Also, you have to be online to play.

Here's a page from the manual, showing one of the five characters you can play as. Along with the Demon Hunter, you can play as the Barbarian, Witch Doctor, Wizard, and Monk. When you see a certain wizard named "Merlin" and a barbarian going by the handle "Conan," that's us. We like to keep things original around here.

Here's our hand model reading all about "The World of Sanctuary," but eventually getting distracted by that Barbarian's massive biceps. "Ay, macho!" he says.

Yup. Right after we catch a few deadlines, finish a couple things here and there, and run some errands. We put everything in the box again as gently as we took it out. And went back to Facebook, erm, work.
