WiiWii Sports is a compilation of five games, which includes tennis, golf, bowling, baseball and boxing. All the games use the motion sensing Wii remote to various degrees of success. In Tennis, you use the Wii remote as a racket, applying various swing styles such as forehands, volleys, lobs, etc. Golf uses a more subtle control scheme for both drivers and putters. Boxing uses both the remote and Nunchuck attachment, held in both hands. The graphics are very basic but what’s amazing about the game is use of the Wii remote. Those who are a bit unfit may tire after a few rounds of Wii Sports games. Despite the simplified gameplay, it’s the best fun we’ve had in front of a console in ages. -Ed Geronia
