Banda Filipino? I was Anakbayan also for a while. I had a fliratation with The Jerks yung original. Wala kasi si chickoy nun, nagkasakit, ako yung pumalit. Sarap o! ginagawa naming ska yung Soul Kitchen. Oo ba! I'm now, may collab ako with this person, mag jajam kami puro acoustic. We jam sa bahay lang kasi nobody's playing Jackson Browne, semi-acoustic. Cynthia Alexander plays Leonard Cohen but nobody really plays Cohen you know? Ang sarap tugtugin yung ganun.

Nowadays it's different eh. Noon, I was fighting for this kind of music. For me, don't listen to me if you don't want this music. [When] I started playing Pistols, ang daming nag-freak out. I'm still doing the same as before. I'll always be a rebel. That's one thing wrong with me. Iniisip ko, maybe I could become one of them. But I can't. It's so hard for me to conform. I try, I go to church, I follow family traditions. But it's something, it's not conventional.
