ERWIN: There's always something exciting online--especially porn. Pero for blogs—Cecil Zamora's Chuvaness. It's interesting, it's funny. There's another blog by Andrew Leavold [andrewleavold.blogspot.com] where he talks about Pinoy B-movies. He's American, but he's really interested in our trash cinema.
LUIS: Charles Tan's The Bibliophile Stalker [charles-tan.blogspot.com]. And ageofbrillic.blogspot.com—it ranges over politics, pop culture, there's always a pithy commentary on anything that's happening around. Sometimes it's not even the most relevant, it's just quirky, but it's always entertaining.
SAM: It’s not a blog but I check out PEP.ph a lot. It’s a really good site to catch up on local showbiz.
Any of you stumbled upon local online games?
SAM: Pinoy-made games are really a hit in 2008, and I think they’ll keep on coming with good games by 2009. Ragnarok, Level-Up, E-Games, they are really up to par with those from other countries, tech-wise.
MARC: I haven’t gotten into World Of Warcraft yet because my friends say my pathetic social life would be over if I do. So I just kept to my PlayStation 3. I’m biased with the PS3. That’s why I bought one. See I’m a very private and don’t like sharing. Ha ha ha! Not too many people have it. My friends usually buy the Wii or the Xbox 360. When the console wars came out, it said to them I’ll buy the PS3, so I stick with it. There are not a lot of people who own a PS3. That’s why I bought it and also because they released the new Star Wars game. Star Wars Force Unleashed (I love swords and light sabers), GTA4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Soul Calibur 4, those games that came out in the PS3 are great for their different merits. But the highlight for me was when they came out with the Star Wars game, I love star wars. It’s really about the game titles for me. I could change my mind about the PS3 if other consoles will release Star Wars. Right now, I’m into the new Mortal Combat title, it’s just dumb fun. Next year, there’s a rumored UFC game that’s said to be in the works. I’ll be looking forward to that.
