Let’s take the consoles out and turn the TV on. How was programming in 2008?

QUARK: I don't really watch TV, but TV5 was definitely a milestone, just because it tried to be different. I will now try to totally avoid mentioning my show in the aforementioned channel, but shows like Hush Hush, Weekend News and Midnight DJ did indeed show us a good alternative to all the teleseryes littering television today.
LUIS: Rakista! Which I thought was a hell of a good show, and not just the episode that we wrote. It was getting good reactions. People were watching it on YouTube. Somebody already said when you watch it you can tell that the producers let the creatives run with it. There was nothing too ridiculsous going on. I look forward to it amassing a cult following.
ERWIN: We had zombies, we had artists who turn into the undead, and this is a high school setting romance kind of thing. It started out kind of Almost Famous, and then it got boring, we put some zombies there. And we had feral table tennis players shunned by society. It hurt that it didn’t continue. It lasted for 13 episodes—one season. It was in a weird timeslot, 7PM.
LUIS: The greatest show in the history of Philippine Television. Ha ha, self-serving!
ERWIN: I think Project Runway Philippines also had an impact, because, okay, it’s one of the first shows here that had a transsexual character, and a lot of gay characters, but they weren’t played for laughs. It showed the spectrum of the homosexual community, but not as screaming faggots. I mean, you know, there was some of that, but they were serious, lots of great stories, lots of great characters, and I think they came out with dignity.
