SAM: Though I think everybody tried to make a Pinoy version of other countries’ idea. Parang wala na tayong originality. Sure, they are entertaining pero I’m sure a lot more kids out there have great ideas for really good shows.
ERWIN: Lipgloss was one of the worst shows ever, it was a rip-off of Gossip Girl. It was so obviously Gossip Girl-ish without even bothering to even localize it. It’s really obviously a horrendous show, but it’s compulsively watchable. Kasi parang, “I’m so rich, I’m so great… but I’m sad.” How can you not watch it? And the mother was played by Kokak, Rachel Lobangco, one of your inside girls. Of course, Rakista had Gail Nicolas who was on the cover. Hence, who’s better? Rachel Lobangco inside, or Gail Nicolas with cream outside?
QUARK: I also liked Eva Fonda and Ligaw na Bulaklak, just because there were a lot of hot women!
MARC: And of course, the comeback of the hottest actress ever, Cherie Gil, in ABS-CBN’s Pieta.
