QUARK HENARES: This concert reminded me why I love being Filipino, and just seeing the four onstage with no banners or sponsors was just awe-inspiring. I'd like to consider myself a friend of these four wonderful people, but that night I really was just an adoring fan all over again. I’d also like to make a special mention of Janina San Miguel. I feel cruel and wrong laughing at her grammar, so I'll just laugh at the way she carried herself under pressure: “My family... My family... Oh my god... I'm... Ok, I'm so sorry... I... I told you that I'm so confident... Eto, Ahhmm, Wait... Hahahahaha.” Quite charming, to tell you the truth. And oh, let’s not forget Roderick Paulate and Rick Astley sharing the same stage! What magic, what magic. I was unfortunately not able to see people start going wild when Roderick first entered the arena, but by the time Astley's set ended, instead of chanting "More!" people were screaming "Roderick! Roderick! Roderick!" This touched me deeply, honest to God. And seeing him kick Astley's ass onstage with his signature Dick and Carmi dance moves turned me into a 10 year-old lusting for Carmi Martin all over again.
