MARC: From what I know, a lot of bands will be releasing albums this year. Kjwan will be releasing our third album, “13 Seconds to Love.” It’s generally different from anything we’ve done musically.
QUARK: Well, if the rumors are true, then looks like we're in for a pretty good year. Duster and Archipelago are releasing, as are probably Sugarfree and Urbandub. I hear Chicosci's going back to making noise, which is pretty exciting. Can't wait to see what the year has in store.
Erwin: The further rise of Up Dharma Down, hopefully more Ely Buendia, and Duster. And this is another artist you should watch out for: Pasta Groove. He’s the son of Dennis Garcia, his real name is Paolo Garcia. And the album is finished—amazing album. It features Armi Millare, Johnny Allegre, Caliph8. The best way I could describe it is it’s what Artstrong or Boom of Kulay wanted to be, but this is finally it. Kasi it’s distinctly Pinoy, but it’s got this hip-hop feel and it’s not trying hard to be both. Really brilliant producer, musician, composer and arranger—Pasta Groove. He’s my No. 1. This guy is going to be big, and if he doesn’t then it’s fucking your fault, FHM. Your fucking fault, Philippines!
