Financial crunch
LUIS: I honestly think the situation was a little better than what people were painting it out to be, and things could’ve been worse. If we were say, under Erap’s it probably would’ve been hell, I’m not saying Gloria’s any better, but things could have been worse.
ERWIN: It affects us, whatever’s happening to the United States affects us. Pero wala, almost 20 years ago communism sells, ngayon, wala, the self regulating free market thing they’re talking about is a myth, it doesn’t exist. You can see it’s all bogus. There’s no rhyme or reason to how markets will rise or fall, mas predictable pa nga kung anong mangyayari sa Myx top 10, kayo din, alam naman niyo kung etong babaeng sa cover ng FHM bebenta, it’s easier to predict that. With financial, there’s no rhyme or reason to it, no one can predict when an economy is going to collapse.
SAM: As long as hindi magtaas ng presyo ang SMB, okay lang tayo in this part of the world. This sort of things kasi affect the first-world countries more than us, and malalaman mo lang na naapektuhan tayo pag tumaas ang presyo ng SMB.
GAS PRICES JACKING UP
SAM: This one’s one of the biggest shocker of 2008, sobrang daming naapektuhan.
