You're also one of the more fashionable coaches around. Do you owe it to your stylist wife?
My wife (Olen Juarez-Lim) is pretty good in dressing up. She helps. But at the end of the day, I wear what I want. If she says something looks better on me, I should feel right first, I should feel comfortable first [before trying it on].

Any reason for the red shirt preference?
We have red and white game shirts for coaches. Most of the time I wear red because I feel soft when I wear white. And mas mataas ang winning percentage ko sa red, ha ha!

Is bald sexy?
It depends on the taste. My wife said it's better than pinapahaba and then you cover up the bald spot. I had long hair before. In high school, my hair was long and straight. I went into college, and sported long hair for a while. Early 30s, it started to recede.

So you just decided not to fight it anymore?
Well, little by little, ha ha! You had to cut it short at first, and just keep cutting it short, hanggang kalbo ka na. So kahit kantiyawan ako na kalbo, kalbo naman talaga, ano magagawa natin. FHM
