Why change management? It was time to move on. For the longest time, our record label was also managing us. Eh magkaiba ng direction. They wanted to go left, we wanted to go right. It was time. We also wanted a fresh start.
Why call it Mornings and Airports?Yun yung naging buhay namin. It's been good, especially the last three years. Kahit wala kaming singles, wala kaming new record, we had a lot of gigs! We were constantly on the road. We've been blessed. Kaya na naming buhayin ang mga pamilya namin.
If we are to download just one song from Mornings nad Airports, what would it be?Pwedeng dalawa? "Hay BUhay" because it represents the joys and the pains of this band, of Jal, of Kaka, and of Mitch. Si Mitch, never nawala yan. Ka-member pa rin namin yan. But angway, track 5 also, "Hangover." Sa lahat, yun ang favorite ko. It starts of, you think it's about addiction and then you realize it's actually about love.
Mornings and Airports, released by PolyEast Records, is now available in leading record stores nationwide.
