Are there ways we can contribute to help with the cause of DTC?
Everything given to us, we find ways to make use of them. You may help us build our dream sanctuary for the children. You may send toys, food, supplies or share your time and talent.
Whatever you want to share, we appreciate. On our part, we want to share everything we know to help make positive change a reality in the near future. Our programs are duplicable and our pushcart is very replicable with no patent nor franchise.
Just help us fulfill the dream of an equal chance for all children to experience learning the fun way. You can help us in a million ways, only your imagination can limit you. Help by adapting the system, tell our story, be inspired and inspire others too. Put up your own cart of learning, send us stuff we can use, help us build our dream center, and many more ways. Remember that “you are the change that you dream and together, we are the change that this world needs to be.”
Lastly, some lighter questions. Do you still ever encounter the guys who once bullied you? Do you guys still interact?
I actually don’t know what happened to them, but this certain bully in school then, a gang leader, was recruited by my mentor and became my co-mentee. He now is reaching out to those inmates in jails and is busy managing the outreach programs in far-flung barangays in the province. I remember him telling me that some of his former gangmates are in the jail where he now serves.
You’re obviously very busy, but are you still able to find time for yourself?
I love to make audio visual presentations of the outreach programs that we do and share them to people and let them be equally inspired. I also read books especially the Bible, I read that daily. I surf the net often as well. Tambay sa Facebook, obvious yun. Haha! Every so often, I deliver softdrinks and other beverages using our tricycle/motorcab to the sari-sari stores in Cavite.
