Barbarella is a French comic book created by Jean-Claude Forest in the 1960s. Barbarella’s description in Wikipedia states that “Barbarella is a young woman who travels from planet to planet and has numerous adventures, often involving sex (the aliens she meets often seduce her, and she also experiments with a "machine excessive" or “orgasmotron.”).” Attention-grabber, absolutely.

So anyway, in the 1968 adaptation, Jane Fonda played the role of Barbarella, cementing her reputation as a true sex symbol. While there are reports today that either Angelina Jolie or Megan Fox will be playing Barbarella in a remake, no confirmation has yet been made. So let’s just feast with this video treat, entitled “Barbarella – Jane Fonda Performing Space Sex.” This movie was made in the '60s so forgive it for having the feel of a low budget porn flick.

To see Marian Rivera as Darna on the big screen would be just glorious. Hear that, filmmakers? Do it now!
