What better way to wash off the mindfuck experience that Inception offered than with a more straight-up Hollywood action flick starring a still sizzling Angelina Jolie?



Salt, is Mrs. Pitt’s latest foray into action movies, and here she stars as Evelyn Salt, a loyal CIA officer who is accused of being a double-agent for the Russians by a shrewd defector.

Her mission now is to prove otherwise, all the while trying to evade getting captured.

Amidst gunfights, car chases, explosions, and lots of Angelina Jolie screen time, will we finally get to know who Salt really is, as asked by the movie’s tagline? The jury is out in the cinemas!

And because we’ve always loved action movies with female leads, here now is our list of our favorite female action heroes.

The Alien series was an epic experience not just because of the amazingly creepy atmosphere it brought, but also because it’s one of the first sci-fi films (then known to be primarily male-dominated) to have a female as a lead.
