It took almost two decades, 23 Emmys and a truckload of other prestigious awards before this well-loved, yellow-colored dysfunctional family makes a big screen debut. And not only is Bart going to dare us to eat his shorts, the bratty nine-year-old is said to do a full-frontal scene while riding his skateboard to Springfield. That’s what he gets after doing every opening sequence in the same manner for 17 years now.
Now the party-pooping next batch of words: the flick plays up Homer’s usual klutzy nature as he somehow accidentally pollutes the river with toxic waste from the nuclear power plant. He gets fired from his job this time. Sadly though, the major holocaust forces everyone to evacuate Springfield, possibly forever. - Charmaine Z. Chanco
