So after that we started playing for more Terno [gigs] until we all talked and we said "so Toti, can we say that we're in Terno now?" He said something like "Well yeah, we have a verbal agreement..." so yeah. That was nice.

A song in your record is a cover of Polaris. We'll take it that Pete & Pete is a big influence. Other influences?
Yeah Pete & Pete is an influence but i think it is more of a nostalgia thing. It reminded us of our youth when no-school-days were a blessing and stuff like that.

Collectively we listen to Smashing Pumpkins, Band of Horses, Built to Spill, Minus the Bear, Bloc Party, American Football, Bonobo, Tycho, and whole bunch of others. We all listen to a lot of stuff individually, we have our own thing. But i think we're also influenced by the thought of making something different or something new. The cool and the unknown ha ha ha!

There's another local band, Ciudad, that's big with Pete & Pete, too. Are you friends with them?
Yeah we met them a couple of times hehe. Nice guys too =)

How did covering Polaris come about?
I got the all the episodes of Pete & Pete and we all got the same idea that we should cover "Hey Sandy." It just seemed natural to cover it. We all like it, we all like Pete & Pete, and Marco made a really good version of it hehe.

Okay, tell us more about your record.
The record is... hmm. Well, you definitely need not to be sophisticated. We try to make it sound accessible.
