All Seats Are Taken by The Pin-Up Girls

The Pin-Ups isn’t exactly the easiest band to follow. Follow, in the context of their songs which, as you’ll hear in All Seats Are Taken, may rely on simple chords and uncomplicated lyrics but deviate from what could have been a simple pop hook into strange territory with the inclusion of some wayward chord. Not that it sounds dissonant, and it’s always a good idea to experiment every so often—it just doesn’t feel right in certain places. Still, for some of the easier pop songs like “Water the Moon” and “Never Rusting Down (Like Gold You Are)” the Pin-Ups do have the power to pin you down.
