If I am not mistaken, the highest point output in a single game was made by Paul Alvarez, while he was playing with Alaska. The single game high was 81 points. I do not remember what year. Hope that the writer of this article will check his sources and correct me if, im wrong.

While playing his sophomore season for Alaska, Bong Alvarez scored a THEN RECORD 71 POINTS during the 1990 season. Allan Caidic would break Alvarez record one year later with his 79 points explosion against Ginebra in 1991.
