Chelsea footballer a Filipino!

The Philippine Football Federation didn't know James and Philip Younghusband existed - until then. "One young kid was playing the FIFA soccer game on his PlayStation, and found the Chelsea reserve list,'' said former Philippine coach Jose Ariston Caslib. "There were two players eligible to play for the Philippines.'' Caslib said the unidentified youngster sent an e-mail to the country's soccer authorities, urging them to consider the Younghusbands for national selection. They did.

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho approved - the London club's staff felt the Southeast Asian Games could give the brothers more exposure. But the call-up came at a cost - they will now not be eligible to play for England. "It was a surprise (to be called up),'' said James Younghusband, a midfielder. "We had talked about it, whether it would be England or Philippines...now, it's definitely the Philippines.''

now we don't have a reason why we Filipinos will not love footballs. This the game suited for us since it doesn't require height only skills which we truly have particularly the talent to excel.

I know Phil Younghusband should have won Celebrity Duets for choosing right songs for his voice. He proved that he is not only good in playing soccer.
