Cinemax, November 5, Sunday 9PM Like most disaster films: Repent! It’s the end of the world! And yes, the government is to blame! When gigantic cracks (not that, you perv) manifest in the Earth’s crust and the Pacific Ring of Fire starts going berserk ala Mount Mayon, a team of scientists must venture way below the Earth’s surface to—what else—save the world. But whaddayaknow, the scientists realize that the reason Mother Earth is going bonkers is because of a secret government project to uncover alternative energy sources. With a team of superhero scientists led by one portrayed by Luke Perry of Beverly Hills 90210 fame, all we can say is, well, good luck!
