Perhaps, it’s every FHM fan’s dream male or female - to be in an FHM photo shoot. In fact, we often hear our guy friends tell us, “Pare, pag may shoot sama mo naman ako. Kahit taga-hawak lang ng ilaw” - accompanied by “He he!” Truth be told, though, for us who work behind the scenes, an FHM shoot is not all babes and curves. It could mean chaos, at the least.
We have experienced photographers walking out while waiting for late model and even models backing out on the day of the shoot. Just recently, our online staff just had a string of bad luck. Online Babe Sachie Sanders’ arm was accidentally stapled while our stylist was helping her wear lingerie. And during this 100% FHM Hottie shoot, we waited for almost three hours before we could go inside our shoot’s location. In the midst of heavy downpour, we had no choice but to do makeup in a ramshackle covered basketball court in Marikina.
Good thing our model Renee Summer didn’t lose her cool. She didn’t have qualms about doing makeup in a barangay basketball court instead of an air-conditioned room. Though her shoot was rigorous and tiring, Renee was professional and very friendly - the characteristics of a lovely probinsyana we all admired when this stunner first graced our magazine in July 2005. This could be the reason why she has become one of our favorite babes —the only vixen whom we shot three times in less than a year. Through all the mishaps, seeing and interacting with Renee made us realize that with babes like her around, we can do chaotic shoots like this all over again.
Sorry for all the hassle, hope you still enjoyed your latest FHM gig! The shoot today was great. I had a great time! The concept is quite different from my previous FHM appearances! Sa una, kumpleto yun damit mo tapos habang tumatagal, nauubos na. Kakaiba!
This is your fourth FHM photo shoot. We hope this would not come up as the most difficult on your list! Is this the fourth? I’ve lost count! The first was the most difficult shoot for me. I was very conscious of myself back then. I didn't know how to pose and most of all, I had to go full nude. This shoot is just fine.
What's the easiest among your four FHM appearances? Yun shoot ko for the Lingerie Special because that's where I was most covered. Ha ha ha!
Even if we had to put you inside an aquarium-like structure? Oo. Ang sarap nga nung may tubig! Malamig. Ha ha ha!
You've done three shoots for us this year! What do you think makes you an FHM favorite? Binabalik-balikan ako ng FHM dahil siguro hindi ako maarte at siguro gusto niyo yung ginagawa ko.
Are you getting tired of seeing us? Hindi ako magsasawa hangga’t hindi ako nagiging cover ng regular issue. Gusto ko talaga nasa cover ako ng FHM with my name on it!
What have you been up to lately? I’ve doing a lot of TV guestings now on GMA-7 especially on Nuts Entertainment. I’m also shooting for Enteng Kabisote 4. Medyo nalilinya talaga ako ngayon sa comedy.
Making people laugh is quite hard especially when you’re around top-caliber comedians Joey De Leon, Janno Gibbs, and Anjo Yllana. Hindi naman ako nahihirapan sa comedy kasi as a person, comedy din naman ako. Ha ha ha! Sa Nuts Entertainment, sa “Balakubak” segment, nagbabato rin ako ng adlib kasi kailangan.
Do you have plans to try out other roles? I would love to try drama. Para medyo kakaiba. Sa Enteng Kabisote 4, medyo action ako dun. I play the role of a police woman. I just finished shooting an action scene. It was fun.
You’ve been in showbiz for two years now, have you gotten the hang of it? I’m getting used to it na. Kasi nung una parang nahihiya pa ako. Kapag may sikat na artista akong nakakasama, nahihiya pa akong bumati pero ngayon, okay na. Binabati na rin ako ng mga co-artist ko.
Now a lot of people recognize you. Are you already drawing crowds in public places? Hindi naman pero sa mga mall, usually, napapagkamalan akong si Roxanne Guinoo and Charlene Gonzales. Minsan may experience ako sa mall na talagang hinabol ako ng isang babae. Sobrang daming tao nun kasi sale. Sabi niya, "Miss, ikaw diba si Renee Summer? Pwedeng magpa-picture? Ang ganda ganda mo naman!" Nagtinginan yun mga tao! Sobrang nahiya talaga ako noon kasi ang dami ngang tao.
You really look hot in your shoot today, what makes you feel sexy? For me, yun face ko and body. Though I’m fond of wearing sexy outfits, hindi kasi ako magaling magdala ng damit. Meron kasi iba na kahit hindi sila masyadong sexy, pero kapag nagsuot na sila ng damit na revealing attractive talaga.
What do you think is the sexiest part of your body? Eyes! Nagamit ko na yang pang-seduce! Kapag may crush ako, tapos gusto kong magpapansin sa kanya, eyes ko yun nag papa-cute!
Do you have other “pa-cute” techniques? I also use my body. I wear revealing clothes. It really catches a guy’s attention. Siyempre labas yung boobs, half-lang ng boobs ha! Ha ha ha! Usually jeans tapos sexy top.
What turns you on? Tinanong niyo na ba sa akin yan before? Teka baka magkamali ako ng sagot! Isipin ko muna. Ha ha!
We've probably ask you that. It’s one of our favorite questions. Naalala ko na! When a guy kisses me sa neck!
And how are you as a girlfriend? Napakabait kong girlfriend. Understanding and faithful! Ha ha ha!
Your loud laugh tells us you’re not being honest! Totoo talaga yun! Mabait, faitful and understanding. Hindi lang talaga ako masyadong sweet. Yun ang sabi nila.
So how do you compensate for being not so sweet to your guy? Mabait nga kasi ako! Yun lang yun!
Performing a striptease can definitely make you sweet to your boyfriend! Striptease? Hindi ko pa na-try yun mga ginawa ko kanina. Pero gusto kong i-experiment yun, parang masaya. Nakakuha ako ng idea sa shoot, nakakuha ako ng experience.
Care to describe how you’ll do your first-ever private striptease? Top muna. Basta, I’ll do it very slowly. Top muna hanggang mawala na lahat!
Slowly? But our makeup artist commented that you strip fast! Kasi nga hindi ako sanay. Mabilis lang ako kanina kasi gusto ko lang matapos kaagad. Ha ha ha!
Are you also fast during foreplay? Based on my experiences tama lang. Hindi mabilis hindi mabagal . Ha ha ha!
