Ever since Manila’s “Dirty Harry” closed down the bars and restaurants at Baywalk along Roxas Boulevard in Malate, the night life at one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations has been much more quiet and uneventful.
That’s why we got Baywalk Bodies member Michaela Espinosa to spark off the fireworks anew by letting her do a striptease in front of our cameras. Never mind if the city has changed its mayor this year. In another jaw-dropping photo shoot, the younger sister of former sexy star Hazel Espinosa proves that the current shame campaign in Manila is in fact a shame in itself — considering her near-perfect figure and innocent appeal that should be more than fit for public consumption.

How was your first ever FHM photo shoot? It was fun. Masarap yung experience kasi mahilig talaga ako sa tubig. (Laughs) Kaya lang medyo ingat kami kasi di ba parang striptease ang dating. So parang kelangan hindi muna dapat mabasa yung mga dapat mabasa. Dapat hubad agad, ganun. It was fun and exciting.
Was this your most daring shoot? Ah yeah. One of my most daring shoots ito kasi never ako nag T-back for a shoot. Dito nag T-back ako, so topless. Ngayon lang talaga ako nag-T-back, so yun yung clincher (laughs). You got us all excited. How would you compare this to your previous shoots before? Uhmm yung mga pictorial ko dati, yung pinakamalayo ko na pictorial is sa Zambales. Mga mga studio shots lang dito sa manager ko. So exciting siya compared dun kasi puro na lang sa mga kagrupo ko, puro na lang sa manager ko, puro sa profile ng manager ko, or sa ibang maliliit na magazine. Eto kasi talagang dati ko pang dini-dream na FHM! Kahit hindi siya sa magazine, kahit sa website since mas maraming makakakita nito all over the world!
Your mom is here. Doesn’t it feel awkward? Sanay na rin naman yung mom ko, eh. Binaback-upan niya ako. Okay naman kasi siya, open-minded naman mom ko about my work.
So, would you consider her a stage mother? Oo. Hehehe. Stage mommy yung mommy ko. In a way na parang minsan makikipag-away siya kapag may narinig siya. Pero pinipigilan ko naman na parang “Mommy diyan ka lang, okay ka lang diyan.” You’re the younger sister of former sexy actress Hazel Espinosa. How is she now? She’s 28. I’m 20. She’s fine naman. Busy siya as a mom. Sa kanyang seven-year-old kid. Yung anak niya nga model, eh, haha.
Can you say that she’s as protective of you as your mom? Open-minded naman siya kasi dito rin naman siya nanggaling sa pagigigng sexy star so okey siya. Pero nung una kung makakaiwas, iiiwasan niya ako kaso napasama na nga ako sa grupo so parang wala na rin siyang nagawa. Kasi pinasok niya ako kay Nanay Lito before as a teen star sana kaso sinama ako ni Nanay dito sa The Bodies nung una so wala na rin siyang nagawa.
You’ve been with the group for three years now, and we heard you just came back from shows from Australia and Singapore. We came from Singapore last September and then 20 days kami dun. Then October one month sa Australia. October 2 to November 4.
You probably had a lot of foreign admirers there. Filipinos yung mga nakilala ko dun, sila yung mga naging friends ko from Sydney. Meron isang barkada na naging friends namin.
So, are you currently single or taken? Single, he he.
When was your last relationship? Last relationship ko was a five-day thing. Five-day relationship pero sobrang minahal ko, ganun. Non-showbiz siya. Nung nanliligaw pa lang siya, napamahal na agad ako nang sobra tapos super bait tapos nung naging kami after five days, nalaman ko na second girlfriend na pala ako.
How and where did you meet this guy? Sa gasolinahan. We were waiting for this booker sa eleksyon sa may Select sa gasoline station and then may group of boys na nagpunta tapos bumili ng mga drinks and then nagtrip-trip lang yung mga kagrupo ko. Sabi nung isa sa amin, “Uy crush ka raw ng nasa unahan namin. Ano name mo? Ilang taon ka na?” I was so shy pero pag open ni-lock ko yung door ko pero pagtingin kong ganun binibigay na pala ng best friend ko yung number ko.
And then… Tapos ayun, kinagabihan nagmeet up kami after the show. Nagmeet up kami diyan lang, tapos ayun nag-start na. Sabi ng friends ko hindi mo akalain makikila mo pala siya sa gasolinahan. Niloloko pa nila na gasoline boy, ha ha!
How would a man win you over? Sa akin nakakatawa yung fetish ko sa kilay, ha ha. Yung hindi naman ahit, yung very masculine na hindi siya inahit pero ang ganda ng shape niya tapos very masculine na makapal, yung maganda yung shape. Parang para sa akin nagdadala ng mukha ng tao yung kilay.
Any other traits that he should have? He has to be ‘real’. As in all out. Kung ano ka, pakita mo. Hindi yung mabait ka lang kasi nanliligaw ka. Basta kapag real, kung may ugali ka sige ipakita mo. Kung masasakyan ko, okay, kung hindi, sorry. Basta it’s about being real kasi kung nagustuhan kita dahil mabait ka tapos pag naging tayo na wala na rin di ba wala.
So, how would show a guy you’re interested? At first hindi mo makikita sa akin na gusto ko yung guy. Hindi yung parang tipong, okay pang play around lang ito. O kaya parang pacute ng konti pero hindi ko ipapakita na parang gusto ko.
Nice style…playing hard to get. Hindi girly thing lang din na nahihiya ako, eh. Ikaw mauna, parang ganun.
The Baywalk Bodies have been involved in so many controversies the past few years. You still have a pending case, right? Na-resolve na yung iba, tatlong kaso ata yun. Hindi ko matandaan pero isa na lang natitira. Hindi ako sure kung indecent proposal, este, indecent exposure or grave scandal, ha ha. Nagstart siya as pictorial lang sa Baywalk for the album cover. Wala namang bastos kaming ginawa pero yun nga in front of many people lang naman kasi talaga. Talagang nakakatakaw atensyon na may magtu-two piece sa harapan nila. Diba super public din saka Philippines to hindi naman to States diba. Kaya yun, sa top kasi naka nipple pad naman.
Tell us more about your albums. Meron kaming ‘Kiliti’, ‘Kilig’, ‘Bombera’. Bale apat yung albums namin na kami yung kumanta kasi yung isa merong nilabas ng Galaxy Records na dance album pero kami yung ginawang cover. Pero yung apat yung songs uhmm yung album talaga naming, ‘Kiliti’ of D’ Bodies, ‘Kilig’, ‘Bombera’ and ‘The Very Best of Baywalk Bodies.’
One of your most popular songs is ‘Kiliti.’ Care to show us where your ‘kiliti’ is? Hi hi, ang kiliti ko ay sa leeg. Ha ha sa leeg ko as in super lakas ng kiliti ko!
You were also part of the sizzling movie ‘Casa’ starring Asia Agcaoli, right? You nearly grabbed the spotlight from her with your sexy scenes. Ayun so pamangkin ako dito ni Asia so ang role ko dito is a girl na nakasilip ng eksena behind sa room ng aking Auntie Asia. Kaya nag-experimento rin. Ha ha! Malala siya kasi meron akong love scene sa bahay ng kambing, ha ha! So when was the first time you learned about ‘the birds and the bees? When I entered D’ Bodies, ako yung pinakabata. Ang sumunopd sa akin two years yung tanda. Naging curious ako kasi galing akong province so wala pa akong gaanong alam. So dun na ako nagtanong-tanong, sa mga kagrupo ko mismo. Kay Rejoice Rivera. I-note mo yan. Yung sex guru ko si Rejoice Rivera. Ha ha!
Would you say then that you’re an expert now in that department? Nag-experiment lang naman ako in terms of sex nung nagkaroon ako ng boyfriend for nine months, nung nag live-in kami. Kaya napag-eexperimentuhan namin lahat-lahat. Ha ha!
Another controversy involving your group is the recent sex video allegedly involving a current Pinoy Big Brother Housemate and a groupmate of yours. Do you have a similar sex video? May nagawa ako kaso nabura na, ha ha.
