Wholesome. Simple. Demure. This is the typical stereotype of the "girl next door" often portrayed in Western pop culture. Think Kristin Kreuk aka Lana Lang from Smallville, Renée Zellweger alias Dorothy Boyd in Jerry Maguire and Katie Holmes as Joey Potter on Dawson's Creek.
And then there's Elisha Cuthbert in the 2004 teen flick, Girl Next Door and FHM Girls Next Door 2004 Finalist Claudine Villanueva, and suddenly you're throwing away that naïve archetype. Though blessed with a heavenly body and angelic smile, Claudine is arguably more naughtily sexy as evidenced by her numerous FHM appearances over the last few years.

Let's take a trip down memory lane. How were you discovered?
Nag-start ako sa Girl Next Door. Kami ung pinaka-first na competition nila. First batch kami noong 2004. Nasama ako sa top 5 finalist. Then after nun, kinuha nila ako for a fashion feature in the magazine, and then the most recent for the lingerie special in 2006.
Seems like you're a fan favorite. Did you expect a comeback this soon?
Actually, hindi na kasi parang feeling ko, ako na naman. (Laughs). Natutuwa naman ako kasi I still get to appear on FHM even if I didn't win in the GND contest.
How daring did you go for this shoot?
Actually, mas daring ngayon. Super daring compared to the lingerie special ko kasi ito, as in bubbles lang talaga takip ko. (Laughs). Ito yung pinaka-daring sa lahat talaga.
Were you surprised that the shoot was held in a motel? At first siyempre parang, ‘Bakit dun?' Parang taga-FHM ba talaga yun tumawag sa akin. Sabi ko, "Puwede ba akong magsama?" Actually nung pumasok ako naka cab ako. Di ko masabi (sa driver) na sa motel tayo ha."
What do you think about the Niagara Falls / Jungle theme? Actually ano, parang mabato siya.. Ma-jungle siya. Ha ha ha. Parang mahirap mag-do dito kasi nga mabato, matigas. Ha ha ha. Pero okay maging adventurous sa room na ‘to. Hahaha. Okay yun may theme para kahit minsan, maiba naman.
Any memorable experiences in a motel? How about your first time? Nung first time kong pumasok sa motel, nakakahiya. (Laughs) I was with my boyfriend. Usually pagpasok nung cab, nakatago ako. Yung boyfriend ko yung nakikipag-usap sa roomboy. Ganoon din pag nag-order ng food. Kapag sisilip yung room boy, magtatago na naman ako. (Laughs) Parang nakaka-conscious. Ang Pinoy kasi conservative pa, lalo na yung mga babae, so yung boyfriend ko ung nagpapakita dun sa room boy.
Where can we see Claudine in gimmick places these days? I used to hangout in Embassy, but now more on Pier One Timog and Pier One Ortigas. Mukha talaga akong Pier One ngayon.
How often do you party? Dati parang four times a week, even on Sundays lumalabas talaga ako with my friends. Pero ngayon siguro, parang once a week na lang after work. Basta kapag may work ako, tinataon ko na lang talaga.
With your awesome body, you seem to attract a lot of men out there. Kapag sumasayaw ako may nagbibigay talaga ng drinks. Minsan, tinatanggap mo na lang. Minsan, I just ignore it. May na-experience when I went to Decades last month, there was this guy who kept on ordering drinks for me and my friends. Kala ko yung friend ko yung type niya, yun pala ako. Sabi ko, eh di okay lang, libre yun eh. (Laughs). May ibang guys naman kakaiba makatingin pag sumasayaw ako. Yun tingin nila mula ulo hanggang paa. Feel ko, parang hinuhubaran nila ako.
There was another guy na humabol pa sa akin noong pauwi na ako. He asked me if he could drop me off sa bahay ko. Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Sino ka? Marunong akong umuwi mag-isa.'
So how do you manage those who persistent guys who try to get your number? Kapag may nagbibigay (ng drinks) tapos ina-ask nila yung number ko, madalas kong binibigay wrong number. (Laughs)
Has anyone caught you red-handed with your mischievous prank? Yeah. May isa kasi na nag-miss call kagad after I gave him my number. Sinabi ko na lang low-batt ako. (Laughs)
What type of guy would have a big chance of getting your real number, then? I'm not into guys who look good in the outside. I'm more on the attitude. Gusto ko understanding men.
Let's visit the other side of the fence. What kind of a girlfriend are you? I'm very selosa but at the same time very sweet din naman ako sa boyfriend ko.
Have you gone overboard with your jelousy? Kapag nagseselos ako, hindi ako yung tipong iskandalosa. Kunwari, kapag tinitingan niya yung ibang girl sasabihin ko lang, ‘Gusto mo yan noh? Sige tingnan mo lang siya. Makikipag-chikahan lang muna ako dito.' Parang ganun lang.
You mentioned before that you're a big fan of lingerie. If we were to peek inside your underwear draw, what would we be delighted to see? Siguro yung string na T-back na lace na lang talaga yung takip at sobrang bakat na bakat na. (Laughs). Meron din akong mga panty na parang ‘Huwag ka nang mag-panty, nag-panty ka pa.'
Does the type of underwear matter when making love? I think so. Yung boyfriend ko, gusto niya yung mga high-cut panty and yung mga maninipis na string. I think generally, guys like that kind. (Laughs)
How dominant are you in the bedroom? Ako, sometimes, mas matigas yung ulo ko eh. I want to be pleased first before I return the favor to the guy. Mas magkakasundo kami kapag ganun.
Have you tried stripteasing for your boyfriend? Oo. Yung nagkatampuhan kami tapos parang nilalambing lambing ko siya. I started removing my top then yun na, nauwi na sa striptease. Ginawa ko lang yun para magkabati kami.
So this must be your "creative" way to patch things up after a fight. Oo pero siyempre, unang una sa lahat kailangan pag-usapan yun problem. Usually kami ng boyfriend ko after mag-away, we do the deed. (Laughs) Sabi kasi ng boyfriend ko mas maganda raw yung nag-aaway muna tapos after, maglalambingan naman. (Laughs)
So that's the plan! Ewan ko sa kanya. Gusto niya ganun. Inaaway niya ako tapos nun, gusto niya nasa bed na kami. (Laughs)
Is there anything else that you'd like to try with your partner? Hindi ko pa na-try sa dalampasigan eh. Kasi na-try ko na sa kitchen, sa stairs, sa sofa. Na-try ko na rin sa car, so siguro, sa beach naman.
