Four years ago, a young, little-known Nika Madrid appeared in FHM baring her body and soul. With an innocent face and a bombshell of a body she was then compared to the face that launched a thousand ships.
There haven’t been any ships launched since, but there might be some set to war. Nika returns, all grown up, and with much aplomb. With 13 movies under her belt, knowledge in nursing sick boys, and maturity when it comes to sex, she says she has all the experience she’ll need to face with our lenses again.
And from the looks of it, Nika has all the confidence, too. This shoot, gentlemen, is her sexiest yet.
You brought the characters of your costumes into life.
Ha ha ha! Yes, I dressed up in to four characters, and I love all of them. Siyempre dapat ibigay ko na lahat, tinotodo ko naman lagi basta for FHM.
What’s your favorite of the four? I love all of them, but I’d probably pick the Nurse outfit. I feel so pretty wearing it, and despite the very neat-freak look a nursing uniform could give, it looked so hot!
But what costume would best fit you in real life? Nurse parin siguro. I studied nursing and wearing it would be totally natural, oh and taking it off, too! ha ha ha!
When was the last time posed for our magazine? That was back in 2004, I was 19 years old then, ngayon I’m 22. So much has happened to me and so much experience gained.
Experience in what? Let me think, life experience! Ha ha ha!
How different is this shoot from before? The shoot I had before wala talagang suot and I was very nervous. This time naman okay na sa akin, at kahit papaano masasabi ko namang may suot na ako, kahit sa umpisa nga lang. Ha ha ha!
Where were you hiding all this years? I was pretty busy studying, modeling, and doing a lot of shoot for movies.
And where did you educational journey lead you? I just graduated two years of practical nursing, hindi ko na siya tinuloy ng bachelor’s degree although I changed path again these time, I’m taking up HRM.
Wow. So what plans do you have for your future? I really want to finish my HRM degree, after that I’ll probably fly somewhere far away. Ha ha ha! Gusto ko talagang mag-abroad.
You’ve done so many films, what’s your last count? I think I’ve done a total of 13 films already, with the newest one coming—Blindside.
Do you still remember your first film? Oo naman, Sex scandal, and that really is a film, not a sex scandal video caught on a cellphone, Ha ha ha!
You’re known for your witty allegorical-titled films, what would you say has the funniest title? A toss up between Hamog sa Bukang Liwayway and Tag-ulan Ngayon, ang Bukid ay Basa. Oh wait, I changed my mind. The latter would be funnier mas mahaba pa. Ha ha ha!
And what’s the story about? I grew up in the province with a father who treats me really bad, and a guy from manila comes in and saved me from all the wickedness of the baryo, the poverty, and my father. He became my husband and brought me to Manila, it’s a rags to riches story.
Sounds very dramatic, what acting technique could you share with us? Tanggalin lang yung kaba, after that the rest would just come in naturally.
Do you use that acting technique in bed, too? I don’t fake things I do in bed, natural talaga ‘yon, Ha ha ha!
What would be your most memorable scene in all your movies? Yung sa Blindsight, I went skinny dipping in front of all the people. It’s something I have always wanted to do but I was too scared to do.
And where will we see the wildest Nika Madrid? You should check out Blindside, the love scene I had with Andrew Schimmer is pretty intense and really hot. I even had my breast exposed in some scenes, and the kiss, torrid talaga kung torrid.
Are you as wild as in real life? Secret, ha ha ha! You’d have to woo me first bago mo malaman.
What makes you a 100% hottie? Tinatanong pa ba ‘yon? Ha ha ha! I’m pretty, I have a very hot body and I’m not afraid to use it lalo na pag gusto ko ang lalaki, and I’m a bit naughty. Konti lang kasi kahit papaano mahinhin ako. Ha ha ha!
