Revenge is a dish best served cold, one saying goes. And it was what Ivy Divino had in mind when she nervously sent us an email asking if FHM would like to have her model again. She was after all an FHM Girl Next Door once before, so she wasn’t totally coming from out of the blue. long story short, we said yes. We had only one condition, and that is to do her best to satisfy the firm, exacting standards of the online FHM community.
The shoot finally took place a couple weeks since that email exchange. The girl was fierce. She took off clothes at the photographer’s behest, without a single tinge of hesitation in her eyes. Her movements, swift, and her full lips shut tight, thinking it needless to question what the photographers want.
Professional, and straight-to-the-point, that’s who Ivy is. You want ‘sexy,’ here I give you ‘sexy,’ her poses seemed to communicate.
Then came our time to have our customary chitchat with our models, in which it was revealed that there was a deeper reason for her ferocity during the shoot: Her boyfriend had left her for another woman.
And this shoot is her way of telling her former lover of what he’s missing now. Well, Ms. Ivy, we believe your point has been made. She not only completed step one of her revenge plot but she also re-validated to herself that she still had the goods. Come, look and see.
Was this your first time? Nope. Before this, I have already posed for FHM’s Girl Next Door, and sa isa pang men’s magazine. So yun, mga three times na rin ako nakapagshoot like this kaya wala na ring kaba, inenjoy ko nalang. I’ve learned how to be confident.
What keeps you busy when you aren’t doing photoshoots? I work of course. Nag-work ako sa isang forwardings and brokerage company. Nagfo-forward kami ng mga shipments, and logistics, mga ganun. But now, I’ve stopped working, due to personal reasons.
So now are you planning to pursue a full-time modeling career? Sana, kung may kumuha ha ha! Pero kung hindi na ako mag-momodel, I’ll go abroad nalang.
Well, where do you see yourself ten years from now? Sana maging successful ‘tong modeling ko.
We also heard that you’ve become a mother. What do you do to keep yourself sexy? Wala nga ‘eh. Payat lang talaga ako. Pagkatapos ko magka-baby, I lost my excess fat quickly rin naman, tapos nare-regain ko na ‘yung figure ko. Hindi rin naman ako nag-gym, and no diets rin. As in wala.
The baby’s father must be happy then as well! Dapat, but naghiwalay kami nung father ng baby ko. ‘Yun yung ‘personal reason’ ko kaya I stopped working. Nang-babae siya ‘eh habang buntis ako dun sa baby namin.
Sorry to hear that. Based on personal experience, what advice would you give to those experiencing the same? Ano lang, just enjoy their life as a single mother, kasi mas mahirap naman ‘yung ipagsisiksikan mo ‘yung sarili mo sa taong ayaw sa’yo. Ako noong una, ayoko talagang makipaghiwalay, talagang I even begged him to not leave us. Pero ayaw niya talaga ‘eh, e di ayun, bahala siya.
We hope you find someone soon enough to fill that gap your jerk of a partner left behind. Actually, I already have a boyfriend now. Ang gusto ko lang naman is someone who’s honest…and of course, sana hindi babaero! Ha ha.
So you’re sure that this one isn’t a babaero? Haha mahirap sagutin yan, kasi boys will be boys.
Indeed. Speaking of boys being boys, what does it take for a boy to turn you on? I always love a gentleman. Siyempre, ok rin naman kung gwapo! The best siyempre ‘yung gwapo na, gentleman pa. Hindi naman kailangan parang mga Richard, o mga Piolo, pero yung tipong Jericho ok na. Haha!
Gusto ko rin yung madaldal siya. Ayoko ng tahimik kasi parang boring. Gusto ko rin ‘yung palagi kaming lumalabas, mga romantic dates ganun. And before you found a boyfriend again, what kept you busy? Weekend gimik with friends, clubbing. Actually, ngayon nalang ako nakakapunta sa mga clubs, kasi before, ‘nung kami pa nung ex ko, never pa ako talaga nakapunta sa clubs.
Ayaw niya kasi yung ganun e, sobrang seloso. At ako rin naman selosa. Lagi dapat kami magkasama dapat ‘pag lumalabas.
How did your ex manage to find a girl on the side if you were always together during nights-out? Because I was pregnant! I couldn’t go out, nasa bahay lang ako, and bed rest ako. Ayun, hindi ko na nabantayan. Haha.
Now, when you’re in a club, would you consider yourself to be the approachable type? It depends. Kapag sa tingin ko mabait naman yung guy, pero pag medyo mabigat yung feeling ko sa isang guy, hindi ko nalang papansinin. For example, he offered me a drink, and hindi ko siya gusto, hindi ko nalang tatanggapin.
Ever gotten wasted during a night-out? Yeah, it was during one of those times na may problema ako with my boyfriend. Gusto ko lang talaga makalimutan lahat, and ma-enjoy lang yung night ko. Talagang inom lang kami, tapos sabi nung mga friends ko tawa lang naman ako ng tawa nung nalasing na ako.
Did any one of your nights-out ever turn to a steamy one night stand? Haha wala naman. Walang ganun. Never pa. If not one night stands, what’s the naughtiest thing you’ve done? Pinaka-naughty? Basta kami nalang nung boyfriend ko yung magkasama, laging naughtiest thing yung nagagawa naming. Haha. Pero wala talagang one-night stands or crazy things with strangers, wala nun.
