Finally, we found Christine Marquez. Or may she found us? This month’s Hottie Christine Marquez has been joining search contests right here on FHM backyard. She was in the FHM Girls Next Door Search in 2008. She is now competing in the ongoing Premiere Vixen contest. The search has rather been long for Christine, or for us. So now that she’s here, bring out the karaoke and belt out “The Search is Over.” Christine has the honor of being September’s 100% Hottie. Or the honor on having her grace the website this month is ours?
We may all be familiar with every curve of her body, her seductive stares, but what do we really know of her? “People would just sometimes see you as a sexy person and they will just look at you, based on how you appear on the outside. It’s sad, I know.” She says.
But after learning she’s a nursing graduate, a former cheerleader, an amateur DJ, and possibly one the bubbliest girl around, we know that Christine deserves the admiration thrown her way. Get to know her and soon enough she becomes more than just as sexy lass.
How about you get to know her right about now?
Not many people know that you first graced our pages during the Girls Next Door Search in 2008. Yes. I started two years ago, when I joined the Girls Next Door. I made it to Top 15. It was such a tight competition that no winner has been proclaimed! Now, I’m a part of the Premiere Vixens, we really have no idea who’s going to win but it’s really more of a friendly competition.
We remember you to be very shy then. Has anything changed? Yeah, I was super shy. Well, I was wearing a red and silver swimwear that time but now, I can say I’m more comfortable, I can do sexier poses.
No more inhibitions at all? No, I don’t think so. If you want to show your best, you have to do your best. And if you want to be the best [model in a men’s magazine] you have to show yourself sexy. You have to feel sexy and do something sexy.
Where is this confidence coming from? It’s actually years of experience. I’ve done a lot of photo shoots with different photographers and they’ve helped me express myself better in pictorials. And I know that I have what it takes! Ha ha! Like what they say, if you got it, flaunt it! (Laughs)
For you, what’s the difference being daring and being bastos? Porn is definitely not for me. I can do sexy pictures in print but to engage myself in [the act] and video [tape it] like pornography? It’s not for me. I have my morals.
But what if your partner asks for a private “sex tape?” And video tape me? I don’t think so. Ha ha ha! It’s really a big no for me because I think it violates your privacy. It shows that he doesn’t respect the girl at all.
Now, let’s talk about being a Premiere Vixen. I actually went there for fun! I’m definitely lucky to be a part of it. I met a lot of friends there. It really brings out the best in me, I’ve become more approachable, friendlier and my self confidence really came to boost. When it started, I know was just another ordinary model hoping to earn a name in the industry.
Has being a Vixen helped improve your confidence? Being a Premiere Vixen, you have to be [a good role model] for everyone. (Chuckles) You have to show yourself in that would increase people’s awareness of safe sex. And we do that in a sexy way. We really should be convincing.
We heard that you’re also a nursing graduate. Would you go treating patients soon or you still prefer the flashes of the camera with modeling? Yes. I am a nursing graduate. And people do always ask me why I chose to be in a modeling career instead of pursuing my course. I always tell them that this is what I want to do at the moment. Maybe, sooner or later, I’ll pursue my career as nurse but, I can’t be sexy in that way! (Laughs)
Do you want people to perceive you as a sexy icon? Well, people might see me as a sexy icon this time but I know I have so much more to offer. People would just sometimes see you as a sexy person and they will just look at you based on how you appear on the outside. It’s sad, I know.
So can you tell us who the real Christine Marquez is? I’m a very down-to-earth person, humble and friendly. I enjoy simple things in life. I also have this positive energy in me that I want to share with other people. My friends always know me as someone who doesn’t have any problem at all because I’m always a cheerful girl. But when it comes to love life, I’m zero. I don’t know why.
Zero? Yeah, like we’ll really believe that. They say that I’m really picky but I really don’t think so. It just so happen that the right guy isn’t there yet.
And how long have you waiting for Mr.-not-there-yet? I’ve been single for a couple of months. I’ve been dating but so far, nothing special has happened.
Any guilty pleasures? Splurge? Shopping?! Oh no! Ha ha ha! Yeah, shopping and I always go clubbing with my friends. I love going out with my friends. You know, that’s what makes people happy, that’s what makes me happy. I love to dance! I used to be a cheerleader way back in college.
It’s hard totalk clubbing without talking about alcohol. I really don’t drink, maybe just a little. If ever I buy drinks, it’s mostly for my friends. I just love dancing and I love meeting people. My friends and I have this thing called “natural high.” We always make sure that people will see us as a lively and friendly group because that’s what we really are.
And where can we bump into you most likely? I’m always in Icon. I love that place. I know the owners and promoters. They always make me feel at home. Sometimes I go to Republiq! It’s such a huge place! And there becomes more possibilities of meeting new friends or maybe that someone special. Ehem! (Laughs)
If we will label every Premiere Vixens, what name would you love to be tagged as? I love to be called the Dancing Vixen because I love to do some booty shaking! (Laughs) I entertain most of the people [during shows] to dance with me because I want them to be more lively and more interactive. We always make sure that the audience rae having fun every time we perform.
And what song would the “Dancing Vixen” play to get in the mood? Tons of Hip hop and R’n B. When I was in college, a bit of Techo, you know for cheering squad. I do like house music too. I even did a DJ stint before. I’m really an amateur DJ and I even joined the Battle Royale contest recently.
Really? And what song would you play in the turn table to get you in the “mood?” Oh! That mood! “Let me lick you up and down, ‘till you say stop.”
