See, of the 374 candidates nominated for this year's 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll, the great Chairman of the Board surprisingly got five text votes. That, we reckon, is the most number of votes one guy (dead or alive) has ever garnered in the eight-year history of this campaign.

Now factoids like this fires up the trivia-whore in us. So we researched some more and found out…

…That, when arranged alphabetically, the list of the 704 women regularly nominated for consideration since 2000 begins with the late RnB goddess Aaliyah and ends with spunky Chinese high-flyer Zhang Ziyi.

…That only 61 women have been on this list four times or more from 2000 to 2006, 46 of whom are Filipinas.

…That Carmen Electra is the only babe to nail the 100th spot twice (in 2002 and 2004)!

…That Pops Fernandez, Dina Bonnevie, Geneva Cruz, and Regine Tolentino are the only four hot mommies to have been named on this list the most—six times for the Concert Queen and five times each for Miss D, the ex-Smokey Mountain lead, and the Dance Diva.

…That Angelina Jolie is the worst chart-dropper among the six past FHM Global Winners after her victorious year, plummeting from rank No. 1 in 2005 to No. 65 in 2006.

…That Oscar winners Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon shared contrasting fortunes in our 2003 poll, ranking No. 1 and No. 100, respectively.

…That Kristine Hermosa, Angelina Jolie, Maureen Larrazabal, Ara Mina, Rufa Mae Quinto, and Regine Velasquez are the only women to have been voted for seven consecutive years (2000 to 2006). Of the six, only Kristine, Regine and Angelina have not appeared on an FHM cover.
