It's is invetable that you'll be comapared to other Filipinos who are pursuing entertainment careers in the US.
I'm proud that there are Filipinos who are out there and are working and getting breaks. I mean I pray for that because what I'm working for is recognition for the country. We've got so much talent here in the Philippines. Sayang lang talaga kung hindi alam ng buong mundo kung gaan tayo ka-talented.
How prepared are you for the possibility of failure?
You know, an artist has to have an appetite for rejection. That's how it is. You just have to live with it. If you go through life without giving it a shot magsisisi ka buong buhay mo, 'diba? I'm prepared to fail. If it doesn't happen, it's okay. At least I tried.
