If you’re very upfront, how do you deal with having to communicate with harmony-obsessed Pinoys?
At the start I had a very hard time. I couldn’t figure out how a conversation functioned here because people wouldn’t say what they really thought. I learned later on that they actually do say what they think, but you have to read between the lines. I’ve learned that you just have to be super nice while you point out something that might not be so nice.
If you called the shots, what kind of role would you want to do?
I would like to do a real comedy and play something really stupid and slapstick-y. I think I have a face that can surprise people. I can do the wackiest and scariest faces you can imagine! Close friends tell me I’m a sure ball when it comes to making faces. Or I can do a romantic comedy as well, where I can play a sexy officer, a dance instructor, or a rebel hip-hop street kid.
