We still can’t imagine you in hip-hop wear.
Well, I belonged to a hip-hop barkada in Vienna, and I was in baggy jeans up until I came to the Philippines. I can understand every rap you make me listen to, which most of the people who say that they listen to hip-hop cannot. I can tell you about rap history from as far back as 20 years, wait, actually, no, 15 years…hip-hop is really only 15 years old, 20 years ago it was more about funk. And I was breakdancing until the age of 19.
From breakdancer to showbiz denizen—any hitches?
Not being able to keep your privacy, I suppose, and people not understanding sometimes that you can have a bad day, too. Or that you could be in a hurry or nursing a 40-degree fever. FHM
