For the record, you said no to this shoot the first time. Or rather, your mother did. Why?
We’re Christians. That’s the truth. So this whole posing-for-a-men’s-magazine thing was really something new for us. We initially looked at the previous issues and we thought that the magazine was too sexy for us.

Your mom, incidentally, is a lawyer. How is it to have an attorney mommy?
It’s actually really cool. My mom is pretty different; she’s open to anything and everything.

Yes, she looks like it.  
Did you see? Ha ha ha! I’m glad she’s a lawyer because I know she’s there whatever happens to me. She reads all my contracts before I sign them. She’s very outspoken so when she doesn’t like something she’ll say it.

Apart from God, what saved this important cover?
You guys sent new pegs that were more artsy, which were better for me because I know I’m not as sexy as the other girls.

That’s your opinion, of course. We have about a million readers who may say you’re wrong.
Ha ha ha! Well, I don’t have big boobs or a big butt like some of them, and I’m not really what you would call a sexy star either. So I’m treating this as something very different, a challenge.

Maybe what you are not is a bombshell. But our readers will have to agree that you’re girlfriend material. Are you?
I think I am. I think I’m the one you might be able to introduce to your parents because my mom raised me well naman.

But can you be a bitch as well?
No. I am a very chill person, I don’t really get angry or shout or whatever kaya sa mga tapings na kailangan galit nahihirapan ako.

A bore?
No, I think I’m a happy, get-go person. I could be the person who will try things once.
